Customs Enforcement Peshawar Seizes Smuggled Goods Worth PKR 27.4 Million

The FBR’s zero-tolerance policy against smuggling and under the instructions issued by the Chief Collector Customs (Enforcement), Peshawar, the staff of the Customs Interprovincial Joint Check Post successfully intercepted two motor vehicles arriving from the Quetta side.

During a thorough inspection, the teams recovered a significant quantity of smuggled goods, including cigarette acetate tow, cigarette paper, cigarette filter-rod trays, sheesha flavours, huqqa pots and Dove soaps. The seized items, along with the two offending vehicles, have been taken into custody in accordance with the law.

The total value of the case is estimated at PKR 27.4 million.
