Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a sharp decline on Tuesday, mirroring losses in the international bullion market. The gold prices in Pakistan fell significantly in the local market, bringing relief to buyers after recent record highs.

According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs9,000 during the day. As a result, gold was being sold at Rs514,762 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold declined by Rs7,716, settling at Rs441,325.

The decline in local gold prices followed a sharp fall in international markets. Globally, gold prices decreased by $90 per ounce, reaching $4,920 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
