Pakistan Army killed at least seven terrorists affiliated with the Indian-sponsored proxy group Fitna al Hindustan during two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operations, conducted in Mach (Kachhi District) and Margand (Kalat District), resulted in the elimination of militants who, as per military sources, were actively involved in orchestrating terrorist activities in the province.

The first IBO was carried out in the general area of Mach, located in Kachhi District, where actionable intelligence indicated the presence of Fitna al Hindustan operatives. According to ISPR, the operation led to a fierce exchange of fire, after which five terrorists were gunned down.

In a second simultaneous operation in the Margand area of Kalat District, Pakistani forces raided a terrorist hideout. The raid successfully neutralized two more terrorists. Security personnel also recovered a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the scene, which were likely intended for future attacks in the region.

The ISPR stated that these terrorists had been actively participating in multiple attacks, contributing to the unrest and instability in Balochistan.

The military’s press release highlighted that these operations target elements sponsored by India under its proxy war strategy, aimed at destabilizing Pakistan. The ISPR reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to eliminate Indian-backed terrorism and bring those responsible for these acts, along with their facilitators, to justice.

“Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said. “We reaffirm the nation’s unshakable resolve to ensure peace and stability in the region.”

Earlier, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir addressed tribal elders in Balochistan and publicly named India as the force behind terrorist networks in the province. He labeled the actions as a blatant form of terrorism, describing the proxy war as no longer covert but openly hostile.

“We have solid evidence of Indian involvement in terrorism within Balochistan,” General Munir stated. “These malicious plots will be foiled. Pakistan Army, backed by the nation and the brave Baloch people, will confront and destroy every foreign or domestic threat that dares challenge our sovereignty.”

His remarks further underline the shifting security narrative, as Pakistan grows more assertive in calling out what it considers state-sponsored aggression by India.

Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest but most underdeveloped province, has long been the center of separatist movements and terrorist violence, often fueled by external support. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which passes through Balochistan, has made the region a target for sabotage operations carried out by hostile intelligence agencies, particularly India’s RAW (Research and Analysis Wing), according to Pakistani officials.

The government and military have repeatedly accused India of funding and directing terrorist outfits, including Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and now Fitna al Hindustan, with the intent to disrupt peace and economic progress in the province.
